He obtained his Bachelor’s Degrees of Royal Schools of Music in Symphony Orchestra Direction (ABRSM), Double Bass, Choir Conducting and Orchestra Conducting at the Municipal Superior Conservatory of Music of Barcelona and Double Bass and Electric Bass at the Aula de Música Moderna y Jazz de Barcelona under the curriculum of the Berklee College of Music. She also has training and pedagogical teaching qualifications specialized in various musical educational methodologies such as Willems, Dalcroze, Kodaly, Orff, etc.

His main teachers have been Ferrán Sala, Rafael de la Vega, Salvador Mas, Albert Argudo, Francisco Navarro Lara, Missak Baghboudarian, Gerardo Estrada, Juan Carlos Dos Santos and Yuri Galyas, receiving Advanced Courses and Master Classes from Helmuth Rilling, Erik Ericksson, Duncan McTier, Ludwig Streicher, Manel Cabero, Francesc Llongueras, Theodor Göllner, H.H. Eggebrecht, Carl Schachter, Gary Burton or Alexander C. Maschat.

Member of the National Youth Orchestra of Spain (JONDE), the Vallés Symphony Orchestra or the North Icelandic Symphony Orchestra (Sinfóníuhljómsveit Nordurlands), he has worked and collaborated assiduously in Spain with the OBC (current Barcelona Symphony Orchestra and National Orchestra of Catalonia), Liceu Orchestra, the Catalan Chamber Orchestra, the Camerata de Barcelona, the Barcelona Soloists Orchestra, the Lira Numantina (Soria) or the O.I.D.O. (Huelva).

With extensive teaching experience, he has been a teacher at the Egilsstadir Music School (Iceland), Director, Head of Studies, Coordinator or Professor of different music schools in Catalonia (Torroella de Montgrí, Balaguer), Madrid (Robledo de Chavela, Ciempozuelos), Burgos (Salas de los Infantes), Soria (Almazán), Ibiza or Sta. Cruz de Tenerife. He has also been Director of the Tenerife Vocal Academy (T-VAc). He is currently a teacher in various disciplines and director of several groups at the Skagafjördur Tónlistarskóli (Iceland) and at the Tónadans Academy.

He was President of the Catalan Association of Music Schools in 2006 and Pedagogical and Organizational Coordinator of the company Servimúsica or Pedagogical Coordinator of the School of Modern Music of the Canary Islands (EMA).
