Ann Marie Pocklembo is an American violinist and violist whose career has long been focused on orchestral playing and music education for young people. She has over thirty years of teaching experience and has served for more than twenty-eight years as high school orchestra director in the Hamilton Township Public Schools (New Jersey, USA), having previously taught in the Monroe–Woodbury school district in New York State. She holds K–12 Music certification and is an adjunct faculty member at Mercer County Community College and in the Department of Music, Dance and Theatre at New Jersey City University.
As a violinist she has performed in the United States, China, Italy, Russia and the Czech Republic, and has appeared sixteen times at Carnegie Hall in New York. In addition to her work in schools she performs with regional orchestras and chamber ensembles and has extensive experience as a professional musician in a variety of musical settings.
At I-AME she works as a faculty member, gladly sharing her long-term experience with young musicians.
